Meet Dr. Sawyer
Dr. Mason Sawyer, DMD is originally from Columbus, GA. He attended the University of North Georgia on the Georgia Military Scholarship and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and subsequently graduated from the Infantry Officers’ Basic Course at Ft. Benning, GA and served as a Bradley Fighting Vehicle platoon leader in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard while attending Physician Assistant School at Marywood University in Scranton, PA. After Physician Assistant School, he worked in Emergency Medicine and then went into the Regular Army where he served two combat tours in Afghanistan and one combat tour in Iraq in support of the Global War on Terrorism. During these experiences he decided to become a dentist and attended the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2018. Dr. Sawyer continues to serve in the Georgia Army National Guard.
Dr. Sawyer’s interests include cosmetic dentistry, endodontic dentistry and pain relief. When he isn’t in a dental office or working in an emergency room he enjoys road and mountain biking and visiting his family, which includes spoiling his two young nephews.
Dr. Sawyer is a member of the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Sleep Medicine, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
